Care: I have seen a couple of sources that say to prune these in the spring instead of the fall to avoid potential damage in the winter. But while one source says to cut the preceding year’s growth down nearly to the ground, the other advises trimming back to just above new spring growth. I’ve followed the first method so far and that’s working for this bush.
